Kherson Reports Casualties and Infrastructure Damage
Authorities confirmed two deaths and 14 injuries in Kherson after drones hit homes, schools, a hospital, and a gas station.
Nine houses, several cars, and administrative buildings suffered damage during the assault.
Odesa Faces Blackout and Injuries
Officials reported one injury in Odesa, with Chornomorsk sustaining the heaviest destruction.
District Governor Oleg Kiper said attacks disabled energy infrastructure, leaving 29,000 people without electricity.
He added crews immediately restored critical services using backup generators.
Zelenskyy Highlights Russian Losses in Pokrovsk
President Volodymyr Zelenskyy condemned the third large-scale Russian attack this week, urging global pressure on Moscow.
He reported “heavy losses” to Russian forces in Pokrovsk, where Russia concentrates its strongest attacks.
Zelenskyy said Ukrainian units in Donetsk destroyed Russian forces while completing their missions.
He added Russia has lost over 290,000 soldiers killed or severely wounded in eight months of fighting.
